Husqvarna Automower® 435 iQ AWD

The 435 iQ AWD is built for the properties that defeat ordinary robotic mowers – steep banks, terraced yards, rough uneven ground. All-wheel drive gives independent control of each wheel, and an articulated rear body that pivots keeps every wheel in contact with the ground as the terrain changes underneath it. Between them they handle slopes up to 35° – a 70% gradient, and the sort of bank most people currently deal with by dragging a line trimmer up it. Coverage is rated to 5,000 m², or 3,500 m² on irregular lawns. Positioning uses Husqvarna’s EPOS® satellite technology for wire-free virtual boundaries, which is a real advantage on this kind of ground where digging in a boundary wire is difficult and keeping it intact is worse. It works with Husqvarna Cloud coverage or an EPOS® RS1 reference station. The 8.0 Ah battery gives 145 minutes of mowing and recharges in 45 minutes, cutting height adjusts electrically between 30 and 70 mm, and object detection sensors slow it down or steer it away from obstacles. GPS tracking and GeoFence alerts are standard.
