The Masport Commander DC510 Plus is the Honda-powered version of Masport’s 20″ dual-clutch cylinder mower, built for a true, low-cut, professional finish at home. Its Honda GX160 163 cc 5.5 HP engine is known for easy starting and long service life. The 510 mm (20″) precision-balanced steel 6-blade reel gives 124 cuts per metre for that tight, striped, bowling-green finish cylinder mowers are known for. The dual-clutch system is the standout: a separate engagement lever runs the reel and the handle bail runs the drive, so you can move the mower without the blades spinning and there’s no centrifugal clutch to wear. A single dial sets the cutting height from 7 mm to 30 mm, with a green zone indicator showing the optimal range. The solid front roller and 205 mm rubber-lined split steel rear roller give smooth travel and an even finish, and the chain drive has a sealed chain case cover for extra protection. Clippings go into a 70 L UV-stabilised polypropylene catcher, and the adjustable deflector’s directional fins spread grass evenly so you get a full load before emptying.
