The 308V is the next step on from Husqvarna’s best-selling small Automower®, and the big change is that it can see. A built-in camera and AI vision work alongside satellite navigation, so the mower identifies what is ahead of it – grass gets mown, objects get avoided. That means fewer unplanned stops, less chance of damage to garden ornaments, toys or the mower itself, and reliable coverage even in parts of the yard where the satellite signal is patchy under trees or beside the house. Boundaries are virtual and drawn in the Automower® Connect app, so there is no wire to install or repair, and you can create separate work areas with their own schedules plus temporary stay-out zones whenever you need them. It cuts a 22 cm width at 20-50 mm, runs for around 100 minutes on a charge and weighs just 9.9 kg. One thing worth checking before you buy: the wire-free setup needs Wi-Fi coverage across the full lawn area. If your Wi-Fi does not reach the back corner, a Husqvarna dealer can fit an Automower® Connect kit to add mobile connectivity.
