Spartan is a pre-emergent herbicide used to prevent the occurrence of weeds such as Crowsfoot Grass, Summer Grass, Winter Grass, Paspalum and other grassy weeds before they establish. Containing Prodiamine, it creates a barrier in the soil that stops weed seeds from germinating. Timing is key with pre-emergents – apply before the weed germination season for best results. The 500 mL bottle covers larger areas for better value. Apply at 10-40 mL per 100 m².
