The Masport ZTM 42″ is an affordable way into zero-turn mowing for larger home blocks, suited to domestic lawns up to around 12,000 m² on flat to gentle slopes. Its Masport MVT500 Series 586 cc 17 HP V-Twin engine runs smoothly with low vibration and noise, and the Hydro-Gear EZT (ZT-2200) transmission gives smooth, responsive control and lets you turn on the spot, so mowing around trees, garden beds and fence lines takes less time and less backtracking. The 42″ (107 cm) stamped steel side-discharge deck has anti-scalp wheels for an even finish over uneven ground, alloy spindle housings that keep the bearings cooler for longer life, and a deck wash port for easy cleaning. Blades engage at the pull of a switch through an electromagnetic PTO clutch, and cutting height sets across 7 positions from 25 mm to 102 mm. A spring-mounted adjustable seat with armrests, park brake, tow hitch and cup holder round it out. Forward speed is up to 9 km/h with an 11.4 L fuel tank.
