Husqvarna Automower® 520 EPOS®

The 520 EPOS® is the entry point to Husqvarna’s commercial robotic fleet, sized for green areas up to 5,000 m² – parks, roundabouts, corporate grounds and municipal verges. It uses Husqvarna’s EPOS® satellite positioning, accurate to around two centimetres, so the installation carries no physical wire at all. For a grounds crew that is the main attraction: you can deep-aerate, top-dress and repair turf whenever you need to without cutting through a boundary loop and taking the machine out of service. An EPOS® RS5 reference station is required and sold separately. Fleet management runs through Husqvarna Fleet Services™, where you can see status and exact position, start, stop or group-park machines ahead of a storm, adjust cutting heights and receive theft alerts. The pro user interface keeps settings off the machine and in the app, which simplifies things for casual operators and limits the damage vandalism can do. A five-blade cutting disc gives a finer finish and extends blade change intervals, and warning lights make it visible if it is working after dark. Slopes to 24° are handled on coarse-tread wheels, and the cutting system keeps working in the wet.
