WINTER CHAINSAW GIVEAWAY, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. THE PROMOTER
This promotion is conducted by Karl's Mowers, ABN 37 690 575 627, of 1/1 Flint Court, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227, phone (07) 5593 4899 ("the Promoter").

2. THE PROMOTION
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. The promotion is a random prize draw (game of chance) run to promote the Promoter's goods and services. Five (5) prizes will be drawn across the promotional period, one every fortnight (the "Winter Chainsaw Giveaway").

3. ELIGIBILITY
- Open to residents of Queensland, Australia, aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.- Entrants must have a valid public Facebook and/or Instagram account and comply with that platform's own terms of use.

4. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
Entries open when the giveaway post is published on Tuesday, 23 Jun 2026 and the promotion closes at the final draw on Friday 28 August 2026 at 10:00am AEST. Entries are drawn across five (5) fortnightly draws during this period (see clause 7). Entries received after a draw has taken place are carried into the next available draw.

5. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, during the promotional period an entrant must:
1. Follow @karlsmowers on Facebook and/or Instagram; and
2. Like the giveaway post; and
3. Comment on the giveaway post, tagging at least one friend.
Entry is free. One entry per person applies across the whole promotion unless the Promoter states otherwise on a specific post. Tagging additional friends in separate comments may earn additional entries where the Promoter states this on the post. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received, incomplete, or delayed for any reason.

6. THE PRIZES
- Five (5) prizes are available. Each prize is one (1) Husqvarna 120 Mark II chainsaw, recommended retail value $399 (incl. GST) each.
- Total prize pool: $1,995 (incl. GST).
- Each prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- A maximum of one (1) prize may be won per person across the whole promotion.
- If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

7. DRAWS AND WINNER SELECTION
Five (5) winners will be drawn at random, one per draw, at 1/1 Flint Court, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227, on the following dates:
- Draw 1 - Friday 3 July 2026, 10:00am AEST
- Draw 2 - Friday 17 July 2026, 10:00am AEST
- Draw 3 - Friday 31 July 2026, 10:00am AEST
- Draw 4 - Friday 14 August 2026, 10:00am AEST
- Draw 5 - Friday 28 August 2026, 10:00am AEST
Each draw is made from all valid entries received up to that draw date that have not already won. Previous winners are removed from all subsequent draws.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION
- Each winner will be notified on the day of the relevant draw (the Friday) via a direct message and/or a comment from the official @karlsmowers account on Facebook or Instagram.
- The winner must confirm they can collect the prize and bring proof of identity and age (see clause 9).
- If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond before the collection window closes, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw that prize from the remaining eligible entries.

9. COLLECTING THE PRIZE
- Each prize must be collected in person from Karl's Mowers, 1/1 Flint Court, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227, on the Saturday morning following the draw, during opening hours (7:00am to 11:30am AEST). The prize will not be posted or delivered.
- Proof of identity and age may be required at collection.
- As a bit of fun, at collection the winner is invited to cut a section from a log with their new chainsaw, supervised by Karl's Mowers staff. This is a celebratory activity only and is not part of how the winner is determined. A winner who takes part must wear the protective equipment provided, follow all staff instructions, and sign a safety acknowledgement before operating the chainsaw.
- If a winner is unable to collect on that Saturday morning (or send a nominated person on behalf of themselves), the Promoter reserves the right to redraw that prize from the remaining eligible entries.

10. PRIVACY
Personal information collected is used only to conduct this promotion (including contacting and announcing winners) and is handled in line with the Promoter's privacy policy. Each winner consents to the Promoter publishing their first name and the first initial of their surname when announcing the result.

11. SOCIAL PLATFORM RELEASE
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta. By entering, each entrant releases Facebook, Instagram and Meta from all liability arising from the promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints must be directed to the Promoter, not to the platform.

12. GENERAL
- By entering, entrants accept these terms and conditions.
- The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with these terms, or engages in conduct that is unlawful or could damage the Promoter's reputation.
- Prizes will be awarded as described, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
- The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from this promotion except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- This promotion is governed by the laws of Queensland.
- Records relating to this promotion will be retained for five (5) years.
